
We had many members on the road this week, but there was still a nice crowd in attendance for our March 10th meeting. Our guests included two Peters: Peter Gibson, a neighbor of William Bennett and Peter Korman, a Roswell Rotarian, We were also happy to welcome back Companion Club member Dylan Paul!
Happy Dollars
Steve Cory led our Happy Dollars and there was plenty of things to be "happy" about. A few of note:
Steve Cory announced that he was accepted into Georgia State University!
Kathleen Peneguy shared that March 12th is the 25th anniversary of her sign shop! She has owned the sign shop for more than half of her life!
Thomas Nolfa shared that he is enjoying his new job, distributing CeraVe and LaRoche projects to pediatrician offices.
Amie Blanton appreciates the support she has received from our club as she navigates her unexpected job loss.
William Bennett shared that the bid he has been working on for 1-1/2 years has come through and he is committed to working another two years!
Guest Speaker
Our Guest Speaker was Ira L. Gleser , founder of Amplify Marketing Communications and author of "Stewardship for Business", a playbook for creating deeper, more successful customer relationships. He shared the importance of face-t0-face interactions with clients/customers and recommended avoiding the reliance on CRM (customer relationship management) systems to connect with customers.
