Storyteller Linda "Schuyler" Ford
Linda Schuyler Ford brings stories to life, and life to stories!
Linda grew up in New York's enchanted Hudson Valley, hearing the stories of her Dutch and German ancestors. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow played out across the narrow streets and woodlands of her childhood home. It's no wonder she became a storyteller!
Linda now travels up and down the East coast giving storytelling concerts, facilitating storytelling workshops and leading Story-based support groups for caregivers and health care professionals.
Her latest concert, Speak Peace: Storytelling to Open Our Eyes and Lift Our Hearts, is a treasure trove of wisdom, laughter, compassion. Here, Linda brings folktales, fairy tales and true personal stories to life for adult audiences. While the richness of the stories stand alone as pure entertainment, listeners will take away uplifting messages, and an unspoken invitation to take action for good.
Whether she is telling a Dutch folktale, a haunting ghost tale, or a true-life story, she embodies the magic and wonder that carry audiences away.
Musician John Henry Redgate said: Linda Schuyler Ford keeps it lighthearted, but goes soul-deep."
We are ready to move forward in refurbishing and restocking the communities “Little Free Libraries.” We are looking for teams to spruce up the libraries themselves with a fresh coat of paint and to make sure they are stocked. Please help with this worthy cause! Donations of good used (or new) books to restock these little libraries and be taken directly to the library. Let them know it is for this purpose.. We are also taking donations!

We are hoping to have our ROTARACT students help in providing GPS mapping, and our libraries will then be registered so others can easily find them.
Thanks to Zack Grage, Thomasville High School Head Football Coach
Zack provided us with an inspiring and spirited program concerning his program at Thomasville High school. He and his coaches are dedicated to providing for the 'whole' students (feeding, academics, attitude and assisting them with plans after high school). His goal is to have 100% of his graduate seniors in college, working or in the military. He works to instill actions, habits, character and destiny in all his players and is clearly dedicated and passionate about his calling.
THANK YOU to all who helped make this year's United Way Golf Outing a HUGE success! We raised over $20,000 for a very worthy cause!
