The damage from Hurricane Michael is historic, Southwest Georgia and the Florida Panhandle has many areas with extensive damage if not total destruction. I ask that all Rotary Clubs and Rotarians, please donate funds to help the needs of the folks in these areas, many who are Rotarians themselves.
We have set up a funding link on www.Rotary6900.org website where you can make donations to the 501C3 District 6900 Charity Fund either by check or by credit card. Please be sure to note on the check or in the credit card notes that this donation is specifically for “District 6900 Relief” for South Georgia or if you wish to donate to Florida Panhandle area “District 6940 Relief”.
The next step is very important,…… that District Disaster Relief Chair Thurston and I need the help of the AG’s and the Club Presidents specifically……..on the website we also provided a downloadable “Relief Application” that will need to come from and filled out by the AG’s and or Club Presidents. We must have these forms completed and returned to be able to distribute the funds.
Submit to: Disaster Relief Chair Thurston Clary tclary@mchsi.com
District 6900 is the best Rotarians in the world, please help us help others in need in our Communities !

Rotarians,
We had a Historic week with Hurricane Michael. What I was reminded of was the importance of Gratitude.
We who survived the storm last week did not lose our homes, our community, or a family member.
We are The Lucky Ones!
We should show forth Gratitude
"Gratitude turns what we have into enough"
Let us take a moment this week and Thank the Linemen, City Worker, the Advance Teams, and the many support staff in Thomasville and Thomas County!
"Gratitude makes sense of our past, bring peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.
Lets be grateful and lets reach out to help those who were not as fortunate.
Andrè
