Josh Small has managed Spectra facilities in Augusta and Aiken for nearly 12 years. He said he's looking to bring major attractions to Albany, like WWE Live, which will come to town in August. Small said since he started on May 1, he's been in planning mode. He said he plans to have at least one major event at one of the facilities each quarter. Small said you can expect big-name concerts from all genres, family acts and national acts in the city. "We're just trying to kind of build on that and bring a couple more events that haven't been here in the past so we can slowly start to take the building to the next step. It's not going to happen overnight but we're putting all of that in place to get to that next step," explained Josh Small. Aside from WWE Live, Small said they are in negotiations for possibly three other events this year. Small also said they are looking to hire new positions for their marketing department and sales department to assist with those plans.
The reception for DG Court will be on Wednesday evening, October 10th from 5 pm to 7 pm at the home of Michele Arwood located at 331 Remington Avenue.
