Four members of our club were honored with the prestigious
2025 Community Impact Awards by the Thomasville/Thomas County Chamber of
Commerce in February. This recognition showcases their hard work, passion, and
commitment to making a positive difference in our community.
Award winners were Powell Jones (Secure Records Solutions –
Small Business of the Year), Chandler Giddes (Thomasville Humane – Non-Profit
of the Year), Darcy Craven (Archbold – “Hutch” Legacy Award), and Barbara
Anderson (First Commerce Credit Union – Woman of the Year).
Congratulations to these Rotarians for their well-deserved recognition!

At Thursday's meeting, Mann Patel and Thomas County Central's championship CyberStingers Blue team will share a glimpse into the future of robotics in action.
They will bring their award winning bot and their epic STEM skills to Rotary. Watch their robot take on real competitive challenges and maybe get a chance to test your own skills. This presentation will highlight innovation, competition, and a whole lot of fun.
Join us for Wine or Whine on Thursday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m. at Katie Chastain's home at 330 East Jefferson St.
If you have questions or plan to bring a potential new member, please contact Angela Williamson.

Have you signed up as a volunteer for Read-A-Thon at Garrison-Pilcher on Friday, March 7?
Each
reader will select a book from a pre-selected cart and spend 15 minutes reading
to their assigned first- or second-grade classroom as part of Read Across America Week.
To sign up, contact Chandler Giddes at (229) 201-0472.

The board will meet Monday, March 10 at 5:15 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce. All directors should attend and send reports to their fellow board members at least a day in advance for review.
Members are welcome to attend. In fact, all red-ribbon members are required to attend at least one board meeting during their time as a red-ribbon member.
